My Sunday

So, I missed the mooncake festival dinner with my family. Gonna miss the tang yuan for this year as well. Sigh. I miss grandma's cooking & M'sia food.

It was raining this morning, I guess many Americans were lazy to hang out at the theme park. Business today wasn't as good as yesterday.

Yet, I stood for the whole day. Did very little thing as there were too many employees in the shop while there were little customers. I served the food & beverages, but mostly beverages as I'm not quite familiar with some German terms.

As usual, break time 45 minutes. I had $1 Hamburger for lunch, taste not too bad :)

Then back to work, the supervisor was telling everyone to close the shop at 5p.m. I was like, "oh no, I'm gonna earn lesser today". Then she said, it's up to the weather & the crowd. If the theme park has less than 1000 people, then the theme park is gonna make a loss & they must chase the people out & close it early.

Fortunate enough, it didn't rain. We continued to work until 6p.m. and when everyone is going back, I offered to help with the dishes & clean up the shop to earn another 45minutes.

The chicken strips & waffle fries are really tempting. 4 out of 5 employees secretly took it and ate, and I'm the only one who didn't take it. Stupid right? Everyone is doing it.

But I asked the supervisor, don't they give out the leftover to the employees? And she said that previously many employees took advantage on it and tried to make as many as possible for them to bring home. So, the leftover must go to the garbage! What a waste. She said employees are not supposed to buy from there also. Employees can only eat at the Backstage!

I'm very tired today & gonna sleep very early. I have a lot to do tomorrow. Gotta ask for confirmed weekdays job from the HR & apply my working permit. Good night everyone.

p/s: I almost late for work today for the same reason, and I found out there's only me who is so obey the rule to use the bridge! Anyway, Gan has promised to teach me cook, yay! I don't have to eat crackers as my dinner everyday.
